I am an enthusiastic and innovative creative, who has a passion for craft. Alongside my love for photography, I also have a strong interest in graphic design and illustration, which can be seen throughout my work. I strongly value the importance of spreading kindness and positivity, as well as creating memorable and impactful projects.
I enjoy taking daily snapshots with my 35mm film camera and producing branding design for local businesses, although, my passion lies within fashion photography and publication design. Additionally, I enjoy uplifting others and community building through creating platforms and offering a helping hand. I have recently curated the publication 'HerStory' which features a wide range of female creatives in the hope to promote their work and create a community. This is something I hope to continue with throughout my career, in various creative roles and passion projects.
When I am not trapped behind my computer screen, I can also be found at my part-time barista job - constantly trying to perfect my latte art (and probably eating too many brownies), at the beach, or watching way too many romantic comedies!
I was recently highly commended for a Creative Conscience Community Award and I was awarded the Best in Show for the Napier Degree Show. I have been featured in various platforms, such as The Arena, Design by Women and Jorja's Podcast.

This part-time role has enhanced my skills and confidence with graphic design, using applications, such as InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

January 2020 - March 2020
During my eight week placement at an independent, voluntary run bookshop and art space in Glasgow, I processed new publications onto the Good Press online stock system and onto the shop floor, posted on the social media channels, handled customer enquiries and was flexible to any other tasks that may have arose. I got the opportunity to work on a personal project using the Risograph print studio within the Good Press. This allowed me to design, print and finish my own publication. This was a new and valuable experience. It was an eye-opening insight into the art and retail industry and an opportunity to get hands on.
Freelancing Brand Design

Starting as a freelance brand designer at the start of the pandemic in 2020, I gained various commissions ranging from different small business, including a beauty therapist, a handmade jewellery shop and a home security business. It is my duty to prioritise clients and to fulfil their ideas, in an efficient and friendly manner, ensuring that they are happy with final visual identity for their business. This role has enhanced my communication and interpersonal skills and further developed my capability to work towards deadlines.
